Lula Lake Land Trust

Nature Preserve

Lula Lake Land Trust preserves more than 4,000 acres on Lookout Mountain in Walker County, Georgia, about 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. The land is privately owned and opens to the public on the first and last weekend of each month. The main attractions are Lula Lake and Lula Falls, a 100-foot waterfall accessible via a short trail from the gate. Additional trails reach smaller waterfalls, creek crossings, and a swimming hole below the main falls. The hike to the falls is about two miles round trip from the lower gate. Entry is $16 per person and must be reserved in advance through the land trust website. Slots open at the start of each month and sell out within hours during spring and fall.

Reservations sell out fast, especially in spring and fall. Book at the start of each month when slots open.
