Lula Lake is only open to the public on the first and last weekends of each month - these are called Open Gate Days. The land trust protects over 8,000 acres on Lookout Mountain including two waterfalls, miles of trails, and old-growth forest. Gate closes at 1:00pm so arrive early. Reservations are required ($16) through Eventbrite - no walk-ups allowed. Book up to two months in advance.
