The Walker Theatre is a restored 1921 venue at 709 Broad Street in downtown Chattanooga. The theater seats 1,900 and books national touring concerts, comedy shows, Broadway productions, and performing arts events throughout the year. The interior features the original architectural detailing from the 1920s, preserved through a major renovation completed in 2019. The renovation upgraded the technical systems and patron amenities while keeping the historic look of the house. Sightlines are excellent from most of the orchestra and mezzanine sections. The theater sits one block from Miller Park and several blocks from the Tennessee Aquarium, making it an easy add-on to a downtown evening. Parking is available in the City Center Garage on Cherry Street, about a half block walk.
