Walker Rocks
Walker Rocks is a community events organization for Walker County, Georgia, based in Chickamauga. It hosts public programming and special events at local natural and historic venues throughout the county. Events have included gatherings at Gordon Lee Mansion — an 1847 antebellum home that served as a Union hospital during the Civil War and sits adjacent to the Chickamauga battlefield — and programming at Fricks Cave Preserve, a limestone cave system with one of the largest bat colonies in the Southeast. Walker County is about 30 minutes south of Chattanooga over the Georgia state line. The organization's calendar varies from year to year. Events are typically family friendly and community-oriented. Check the Walker Rocks website and social channels for current event listings.
