Downtown Ringgold
Historic downtown Ringgold, Georgia is a small commercial district along Nashville Street and surrounding blocks in Catoosa County, about 15 minutes south of Chattanooga on I-75. The district has a walkable main street with local shops, restaurants, and community gathering spaces. Regular outdoor events include a monthly classic car show and a free live music series on Friday evenings from spring through summer. The downtown is anchored by the historic Ringgold Depot, a Civil War-era railroad station that survived the Battle of Ringgold Gap in 1863 and now serves as a community landmark. Street parking is free throughout the district. The area is small enough to cover on foot in an afternoon, and the events draw a loyal local crowd.
