Ketner's Mill

Ketner's Mill is a historic 1882 grist mill and festival grounds on Ketner Mill Lane in Whitwell, Tennessee, about an hour from Chattanooga in Marion County. The mill sits on a creek in a wooded hollow and has been in continuous operation for most of its history. It hosts the annual Ketner's Mill Country Arts Fair each fall, typically held over a weekend in October. The fair draws several hundred juried artists and craftspeople alongside food vendors and live music on the mill grounds. Attendance runs into the thousands over the weekend. The drive through Marion County is part of the experience — the route passes through the Sequatchie Valley and into the hill country east of the ridge. Admission to the fair is charged at the gate.
