Hunter Museum of American Art
The Hunter Museum of American Art sits on a bluff above the Tennessee River in the Bluff View Art District. Its permanent collection spans American art from 1800 to the present, with works in painting, sculpture, and studio glass. Evening events and exhibition openings take place regularly throughout the year.
The outdoor terrace has one of the best views of the Tennessee River in the city. Free on the first Thursday evening of each month.
