Crabtree Farms
Crabtree Farms is a nonprofit urban farm on East 30th Street on the north side of Chattanooga. The farm operates on a 22-acre property and grows produce for community donation while running educational programs in urban agriculture, cooking, and ecology. The farm serves as both a working production site and a community gathering space. Events on the property include farm dinners, volunteer days, educational workshops, and seasonal celebrations. The surrounding neighborhood is primarily residential, and the farm functions as a green anchor for the area. Chickens, bees, and seasonal crops are visible throughout the growing season. Volunteer opportunities are open to the public through the farm's website. The farm also sells CSA shares and operates a seasonal farm stand.
