Barrelhouse Ballroom
Barrelhouse Ballroom is a mid-size live music venue on Long Street in the South Side neighborhood. It books national touring acts and local and regional shows, with programming running most nights of the week across rock, hip-hop, country, and electronic genres. The main floor is standing room with a capacity around 750. The raised stage puts you within a few rows of the performers regardless of where you stand. A full bar runs along both sides of the room. The venue shares a building with Five Wits Brewing, so there is usually a beer worth drinking before or after a show. The booking calendar covers a wide range of genres, and the venue runs shows on a near-nightly schedule throughout the year. Parking in the surrounding Long Street lots is free.
Parking is free in the lots along Long Street. Doors typically open 30 minutes before the first set.
