The Bessie Smith Legacy Gala is the center’s yearly fundraiser. It honors the legacy of blues singer Bessie Smith and supports the center’s programs. Guests enjoy an evening of dinner, music, and awards. The 2026 gala takes place at The Westin Chattanooga on Pine Street. Doors open at 6pm. Buy tickets through the center’s website.
